ART EXHIBITION
THURSDAY / FRIDAY / SATURDAY
17:00h – 20:00h
SUNDAY
10:30h - 14:00h
An exhibition that is not only pleasing to the eye, but also does good.
Under the motto ‘Artists for Cats’, numerous international and local artists will be presenting their works in this collective exhbition – and supporting a project close to their hearts.
All the pictures, sculptures and objects on display are not only there to be admired, but also available for purchase. 50% of the proceeds from sales will go directly to CAT PROTECTION POLLENSA, which provides care and medical treatment for over 1,000 stray cats in the region. The money raised will finance feeding and neutering in colonies, and medical care – essential measures to alleviate the suffering of the animals and curb uncontrolled reproduction.
Although many cats in Pollença are part of the townscape and delight many people, they often struggle to survive and can reproduce rapidly.
‘Art is expression – and in this case also an act of care,’ says the initiator of the exhibition. ‘With Artists for Cats, we not only want to raise money, but also raise awareness of the situation of street cats and draw more people's attention to the important work of Cat Protection Pollensa.’
The exhibition invites residents, tourists and art lovers alike, to experience art with added social value – and in doing so, make a difference for animals that have no voice of their own.

ABOUT US
CAT PROTECTION POLLENSA (CPP) cares for over 1,000 stray cats in the municipality of Pollença – with heart, dedication and the support of numerous volunteers.
Every day, they ensure that the animals receive food, medical care and a sense of security. A very important aspect of their work is to constrain population growth through the ‘trap-neuter-return programme’ (TNR).
